The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference will be held between November 12-15, 2018.

Trade Arabia reported: “It is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) with the support from the UAE Ministry of Energy, the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority.”

Organisers at DMG Events pointed out the challenges for the industry’s decision-makers, which largely include difficult energy market, economic power shifts , and quick development in technological innovation. President Christopher Hudson said: “Abu Dhabi is at the pivot point of historic shifts in economic power, international trading demand, and strategic and technical influence.”

“The strong support from international government and corporate leaders is a recognition of the emirate’s central role in global oil and gas industry growth, and Adipec’s value in identifying opportunities, forging partnerships, and ensuring the secure and stable energy supply needed to meet future local and worldwide demand.”

The Conference will witness significant industry-related discussions. Trade Arabia also reported that “Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Industry will lead the ministerial-level discussions during Adipec alongside Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence.”

“The headline speakers at the event are the same policy-makers and business leaders whose decisions will shape the future of oil and gas,” Hudson said. “Their dialogue in Abu Dhabi will set the agenda for a thriving industry and economic growth, underpinned by people, partnerships, technology, and bold and innovative thinking.”
