Plans to launch new experience centres in Yola, Zamfara, Sokoto, Jalingo, and the Kebbi States

Nigeria-based logistics service provider GIG Logistics (GIGL) recently announced its plans to expand operations into northern Nigeria, according to the media. Though business watchers consider the market an uncertain investment climate, GIGL is proceeding with its network expansions. It has planned to launch new experience centres in Yola, Zamfara, Sokoto, Jalingo, and the Kebbi States.

Experts consider this move of GIGL to be a daring investment and a first of its kind. A bullish mentality has witnessed GIGL build a rapidly growing network of experience centres totalling over 133 locations in Nigeria, Africa, and the US. The company’s business model is built and driven essentially by technology. GIGL supports social commerce, e-commerce and other enterprises by offering innovative delivery solutions to domestic and international destinations.

Dafe Ojonah, head of expansion and growth at GIGL, spoke of the development and said they see numerous opportunities in the Nigerian market despite the perceived volatilities. The company considers that the parameters hold bright prospects for investors who are not averse to risk-taking. He further stated that the northern experience centres represent a strategic need-meet for GIGL and its customers.

The logistics firm strives to be one of the significant linkages between business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) relationships to provide easily accessible logistics services to businesses and individuals. “For us, it is more than just business expansion, and it has always been our core focus to empower businesses by creating avenues that support ease of service offerings to their existing and potential customers in Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large,” Ojonah told the media.
