Mahindra Logistics is focused on acquiring in the logistics-technology space as the company is wanting to increase its efficiencies through digitisation.
Pirojshaw Sarkari told Economic Times: the company is “especially (looking at acquisitions) in the tech analytics space.”
He also added that the company is in talks with two other prospects for acquisition. Previously, Mahindra Logistics invested in Transtech Logistics, where the company will be holding 51% in the startup.
At present, Mahindra Logistics draws 57% of its revenue from the parent company Mahindra. In addition, it is one among several companies that is closely working with the government, Sarkari added.
