Jesper With-Fogstrup joins as Global Head of Digital as a Channel responsible for the team delivering business and customer growth through digital experiences. This includes digital acquisition, content management, messaging and optimisation. Jesper joins HSBC from Compare the Market.com where he was Chief Operating Officer and prior to that held a number of executive positions in the online travel industry.

Kate Simonjoins as Global Head of Commercialisation, responsible for working with HSBC’s 38 countries and territories to identify & realise the potential of HSBC as a digital business.

Kate joins from The Walt Disney Company where she had global responsibility for growth strategies & business performance of “DisneyLife”. Kate has previously worked for a variety of consumer-tech start-ups and corporates including blinkbox Entertainment Group, Majestic Wine, Dixons Carphone & Global Media, in addition to holding a number of advisory roles working with early-stage digital disruptors in Fintech & eCommerce.

Phil Fearnley joins as Head of Strategic & Organisational Development responsible for shaping and integrating the digital agenda across the bank. Phil has over 30 years’ experience of digital technology strategy development and delivery. Prior roles include Digital Director for the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), where Phil successfully oversaw some of the most innovative and complex digital transformation projects including leading the development of the original BBC iPlayer and the development and launch of a range of mobile apps for BBC News, BBS Sport, BBC Weather and CBBC.

Jesper, Kate and Phil are all based in the UK and will report to Josh Bottomley, Global Head of Digital, Data and Development for HSBC’s Retail Banking and Wealth Management business.
