North Korea leader willing to discuss ‘denuclearisation’ with US

North Korean officials have informed that politician Kim Jong-Un is willing to discuss the matter with President Donald Trump

A Trump administration official told The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, “The US has confirmed that Kim Jong-Un is willing to discuss the denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.”

It is the first for North Korea to approach Washington directly. Previously, the information was conveyed South Korean national security adviser Chung Eui-yong, reported The Strait Times.

However, there has been no contact from Pyongyang with Washington, according to the Journal has worried the Washington officials about North Korea’s readiness to discuss the matter and come to a fair negotiation.

But reports said Kim is keen on ‘denuclearisation,’ which includes ‘withdrawing the promise of US “nuclear umbrella’’ to deter attacks on its treaty ally South Korea.’
