Lisa Suennen, senior managing director at GE Ventures exits after less than two years. Suennen is described as a “unicorn collector” and “towering figure in health care venture capital.” According to CNBC, she decided to leave the company because it was time for her to “find a new adventure.”

Being an angel investor, Suennen joined the company’s corporate arm two years ago while the industrial giant was in the midst of a struggle.

A report on CNBC reads: “In that time, parent company GE unveiled plans to spin off the health-care division and several other business units to reduce overall headcount.” Her focus was primarily on health and technology investments. The investment focus largely covers cybersecurity, health care, life sciences and energy.
