Data science is one of the most cutting-edge developments in the telecommunications sector. Telecom operators are increasingly using data science techniques and artificial intelligence to make sense of higher-than-ever data quantities. Since data transfer, exchange, and import are the primary operations of businesses in the telecommunications sector, it is critical that telecom providers invest in data science solutions that can manage and extract valuable insights from the enormous amount of data generated every day. The telecom sector offers a wide range of data science examples. Let us check out some of the best applications of data science in the telecom sector.

Fraud Detection & Price Optimization

Being able to spot fraudulent activity is one of the biggest issues facing the telecoms sector. It is such a difficult task since the telecom industry has such a large number of users and even more locations that are prone to security breaches. Application of unsupervised machine learning to customer and operator data, fraud detection tools and methodologies that can be used to identify odd user behaviours, and proactive fraud prevention methods are some examples of data science applications in telecom fraud detection. Telecom operators can easily undertake network performance monitoring and visually identify the traits of regular traffic and trends linked to problematic traffic thanks to data science tools with visualization capabilities.

Price optimization is a common data science use case in many sectors. There is intense competition among telecommunications companies, and because there are so many possibilities, clients are more likely to choose the services of businesses that are providing the greatest deals. Pricing was created as a strategy to both reduce congestion and boost revenue with the aid of cutting-edge data analytics. Pricing plans are intricate and take into account a wide range of elements, such as competitor pricing, time of year, operating costs, macroeconomic variables, sentiment analysis of customer reaction to different prices and perceived value of services, and more. All of this data may be ingested and consolidated, showing how they interact and relate to one another, and informing an effective plan that will keep positive revenue while also retaining pleased clients is made feasible by data science tools.

Network Optimization & Real-Time Analytics

Network health, optimization, and profitability are crucial for all telecom providers. Utilizing AI-powered technology at every stage of the network lifecycle streamlines this difficult and time-consuming process and makes it possible to access internal and external data instantly. With the help of this information, the network’s performance can be compared to set strategic goals. When determining where and when to increase capacity for the most benefit, data science tools use real-time monitoring and forecasting to anticipate future network demands. This is particularly crucial for 5G infrastructure optimization. As more 5G use cases emerge, including those for network anomaly detection and 5G network design optimization, telecom companies must be prepared to anticipate and adjust to continually shifting customer expectations.

Data science use cases in telecom involve a great deal of real-time data. The telecom sector has evolved, and in order to satisfy ever-changing customer demands, providers are now adopting analytical tools to track data in real-time. Providers have a continuous, 360-degree view of data about customer profiles, networks, locations, traffic, and usage thanks to real-time streaming analytics. Regular and frequent examination of this data enables service providers to enhance customer service by better understanding how customers react to and use their goods and services. Real-time analytics assists providers in meeting these expectations with real-time analysis and real-time reactions as subscribers’ demands grow and traffic gets more active every day.

Preventing Customer Churn & Targeted Marketing

In the telecommunications industry, data science enables service providers to foresee client needs and identify potential problems before they materialise. This results in satisfied clients, and satisfied clients don’t churn. Because it offers precise insights into customers’ thoughts and habits, data analytics is highly useful for customer church analysis in telecom. The data will be able to reveal information if a customer is dissatisfied with their service and assist the business in effectively increasing satisfaction. To forecast customer churn and create proactive client retention tactics in the telecom business, data science technologies incorporate data related to elements including transactions, real-time communication streams, and social media sentiments.

Telecom data science technologies assist providers in predicting what clients may require in the future, by analyzing historical trends. People are more inclined to purchase from a company when they are presented with offers that are tailored to their particular interests, hence this technology is largely utilized for customer segmentation and targeted marketing. For example, if you notice someone frequently calls one particular country, you might offer them a monthly service plan with some exciting add-ons. A recommendation engine selects the most pertinent service or item for a specific user based on machine learning algorithms and data analysis methods. This increases revenue generation and client happiness to the fullest.

Location Based Promotions & Product Optimization

Location-based services are a highly lucrative use case for telecom data science. Location-based marketing connects points of interest with opted-in, privacy-compliant location data sent from smartphones. It takes a lot of real-time data to be able to offer discounts to people based on their current location. Customers’ real-time locations are tracked by telecom carriers, who may then text them with promotional messages for nearby businesses. This is done by partnering with various retailers and employing data science to determine the customer’s location. The majority of contemporary network operators have used analytical tools that can handle client geodata both internally and externally.

Data science enables telecommunications companies to offer the goods best suited to the requirements of their consumers. These companies can supply goods that meet their customers’ and their own demands by using the customer data they gather. The product development process primarily utilizes data about client usage and feedback, which reduces time, cost, and risk. Before releasing a new product or service, as well as to improve an already existing product or service, customer feedback and usage analysis are used.

The HEAVY.AI Advantage

Data science applications in the telecom industry are only as useful as our ability to interpret and leverage the data they generate. The telecom business is rife with growth prospects and has enormous potential for optimization, and only the most advanced big data analytics tools can truly harness the vast data streams that telecom assets and customers generate. HEAVY.AI’s hardware-accelerated analytics delivers greater speed and performance than any legacy system could handle. Instant interaction and dynamic big data representations promote quicker action and better judgment.

HEAVY.AI for telecom facilitates faster insights and improves our capacity to ask the right questions, define objectives, close data gaps, analyze data and formulate hypotheses about issues, conduct effective CLV predictions, perform quick data discovery, train precise predictive models, monitor ML models, optimize networks topology and customer service strategies, and create interactive data visualizations that clearly communicate hidden insights.

When HEAVY.AI gives data scientists and utility managers the power to explore big data at the speed of thought, the questions you can answer are limitless.

Iraq-based internet conglomerate iQ Group was founded in 2005 with a mission to bring unparalleled network access and speed to Middle East nations. 19 years down the line, iQ, with its full range of high-speed internet services, has emerged as one of the leading internet providers in the country. The group has beefed up Iraq’s connectivity game by providing state-of-the-art network infrastructure to various government institutions.

As a pioneer of fibre access transmission in Iraq, iQ’s network infrastructure has emerged as a vital asset for the nation, benefiting Iraq’s government and major telecommunication companies. Mobile operators and LTE (Long-Term Evolution) carriers cannot provide 4G/5G internet efficiently without relying on fibre-optic infrastructure. Iraq’s two biggest GSM operators, with a user base easily exceeding 20 million users, rely on iQ’s fibre backbone to ensure their LTE connectivity.

Likewise, the Kurdistan region of Iraq’s two biggest LTE carriers, which have a combined user pool of nearly 3 million users, also relies on iQ’s network infrastructure. Since 2020, the company has worked strenuously to transform itself into a diverse group working in a range of industries like telecommunications, technology, and manufacturing.

iQ offers numerous FTTH (Fibre-to-the-home) high bandwidth fibre optic connectivity packages to their customers, exclusively in the Sulaymaniyah province. Its quality and speeds are comparable to that of any major technological capital of the world.

“This evolution ultimately represents the ability to utilize the collective expertise and resources of various sectors to provide a more comprehensive service to customers. Whether to stream a video, take their start-up to the next level, or set up the next tech breakthrough, iQ’s technology services have enabled millions of Iraqis, and hopefully, millions across the region, to connect with the rest of the world and step into the future,” the conglomerate told the International Finance.

Tracking iQ’s Expansion
The telecommunication behemoth, apart from remaining a driving force in Iraq’s economic growth, has also taken up key strategic projects. One such has been the ‘Silk Route Transit,’ a terrestrial fibre-optic infrastructure initiative that aims to create an alternative route connecting Europe and the Middle East with the rest of the world. The Silk Road has a special place in our history for being the world’s largest trade route, apart from promoting economic and cultural exchanges between Europe and Asia since the second century BCE. However, modern technology has given rise to internet transit, by becoming one of the most valuable assets in a growing world revolving around AI, social media, business communication platforms, and entertainment. iQ Group has understood the reality and now, through the ‘Silk Route Transit,’ is attempting to build a connectivity infrastructure as big as the iconic network of the Eurasian trade routes, so that the businesses and individuals from Europe, Middle East and the rest of the world enjoy the best of the Iraqi telecom venture’s services.

“iQ has invested heavily in its infrastructure to date, demonstrating its commitment to providing top-quality internet services to the people of Iraq. Looking towards the future, iQ plans additional investments in capital expenditure over the next two years (2023-24). This investment will be used to deploy the national backbone, penetrating all major cities of Iraq and enhancing the physical protection of routes related to iQ’s Silk Route Transit project further improving the network infrastructure and world-class internet accessibility to even more people,” iQ Group stated.

Knowing The Silk Route Transit In Detail
The project started in 2010, and currently under the initiative, over 3500 kilometres of fibre-optic cable have been laid across Iraq. The Silk Route Transit’s multilayer fibre-optic network provides the shortest alternative terrestrial route to connect Europe to Asia and will enable users to have high-quality and low latency-based experiences.

The company also aims to enhance the physical protection of routes related to the project, ensuring the security and reliability of its services.

“This project is currently the only viable route that can reduce resistance between the two continents, changing the direction of traffic from the Eastern Mediterranean. Iraq can simplify the needs of providers and remove the demand for projects like the Blue-Raman. In short, as a transit hub, Iraq will be able to connect all the neighbouring countries and act as the path of least resistance between Europe and Asia,” iQ Group told International Finance.

To truly grasp the significance of the Silk Route Transit we went over the project map, which highlights the route of the fibre-optic cable, major cities and countries along the way, and any important landmarks or points of interest.

“The map visualizes the importance of the Silk Route Transit in connecting the East to the West,” iQ engineers stated.

iQ Transit Optical Cable Network is known as Iraq’s first fully secured fibre network, deployed in parallel with the Middle Eastern country’s strategic oil pipeline. Keeping in mind the immense value of the whole infrastructure network, its security has been handed over to the Federal Iraqi Government military and police forces.

“Latency is the key parameter for today’s digital transformation and telecommunication services. Communication over the sea cables might easily delay up to 150 milliseconds to access from the EU to Gulf. The Transit project will help decrease this digital journey to a value of 70 milliseconds between the same endpoints. iQ’s Silk Route Transit project aims to create an alternative route connecting Europe and the Middle East with the rest of the world, connecting all neighbouring countries to the global fibre-optic network,” the company remarked.

“The Silk Route Transit offers a broad range of services, including international private lease circuits, dark fibre, cross-border landing station interconnection, and direct international peering with cache servers. Additionally, the company partners with hyper scalers such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook (Meta), TikTok, and others to further optimize the route. iQ also caters to its customers’ diverse needs by offering a wide range of contract terms, from short-term to long-term right of use. The project is designed to revolutionize connectivity in the region and empower businesses and individuals with fast, reliable, and secure internet access,” it stated further.

The Silk Route Transit is also designed to accommodate highly accessible alternative routes for carriers, OTTs, and enterprises to cope with future traffic growth. With high-capacity connections of up to 100 Gbps, the project can serve bandwidth-hungry applications such as Big Data, AI, IoT, among others, and provide improved end-user experiences for other cloud-based applications.

The project also offers a comprehensive range of services, including international private lease circuits, dark fibre, direct international peering with cache servers, cross-border landing station interconnection, and world-leading SD-WAN solutions, enabling efficient and secure networks for businesses and enterprises of all scales.

“iQ’s Silk Route Transit features Smart Network Analytical and Monitoring Tools, allowing its team to proactively troubleshoot and prevent network issues before they impact performance. With the largest number of certified resources, the highest number of deployments in the country, and 24/7 expert-level operational support, iQ provides the best support team for its customers,” the company noted.

The Promising Journey Ahead
The network evolution roadmap of the Silk Route Transit is focused on performance, reliability, and automation, thus ensuring a robust network infrastructure that delivers an exceptional digital experience. This game-changing project has been years in the making, and iQ is thrilled to finally share it as they continue to expand Iraq’s technological landscape.

The Silk Route Transit project has emerged as a groundbreaking connectivity initiative, benefiting the Middle East and beyond. As a transit hub, Iraq will act as the path of least resistance between Asia and Europe, connecting neighbouring countries to the global fibre-optic network.

“Through its unique route and design, iQ is committed to providing end-users with an exceptional experience by reducing latency and increasing availability. Additionally, iQ’s expertise in traffic engineering, combined with partnerships with hyper scalers, will continue to make this route even more effective in the future. As a leading fibre-optic internet provider, iQ remains committed to continuous growth and evolution within the industry, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable, and secure internet access to its customers and partners,” iQ Group concluded.

Vodafone Group or Vodafone is a telecommunication service provider. The company offers voice, messaging and data services over fixed and mobile networks. In addition, the company offers cloud and hosting, carrier, unified communications, payment, cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT) services.

The company markets mobile phones, televisions, broadband devices, gigaboxes and hosting equipment. Vodafone serves the automotive, consumer electronics, manufacturing, banking and financial services, healthcare, public services, smart cities, retail, utilities, and transportation and logistics industries. Operations are conducted through subsidiaries, joint ventures, investment firms and affiliates. The company is headquartered in Newbury, Berkshire, United Kingdom.

The development of the Vodafone brand began in 1982 with the establishment of the subsidiary Racal Strategic Radio Ltd. by Racal Electronics plc, the UK’s largest manufacturer of military radio technology. On the initiative of Jan Stenbeck, Racal Strategic Radio Ltd formed a joint venture with Millicom called Racal Vodafone, which later became Vodafone.

Recently, the company said it planned to axe 11,000 jobs over the next three years. The decision was made under Vodafone’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Margherita Della Valle.

“Our performance has not been good enough. To consistently deliver, Vodafone must change,” Margherita Della Valle said in a statement.

“We will simplify our organisation, cutting out complexity to regain our competitiveness,” she added further.

Margherita Della Valle was appointed as CEO of the company on a permanent basis in May 2023 after serving as the telecommunication giant’s interim boss for five months. She has been a part of the Vodafone Group for nearly 30 years.

Who is Margherita Della Valle?

Margherita Della Valle is a 58-year-old Italian businesswoman, who was born and brought up in Italy’s Veneto city

She completed her graduation in 1988 in Economic and Social Disciplines and a master’s degree in economics from Bocconi University

During the early days of her career, Margherita Della Valle became part of Omnitel Pronto Italia, where she performed various roles, from marketing to customer management and finance, and later the company transitioned to Vodafone Italy in 1994

Margherita Della Valle served as Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone Italia from 2004 to 2007, later she became Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Vodafone Group from 2015 to 2018

She served as Chief Financial Officer of the Vodafone Group in 2018

Margherita Della Valle is also one of 15 female CFOs in FTSE 100 companies, according to The Female FTSE Board Report 2021

She has also been elected as Chairman of 100 Group, the association that brings together FTSE 100 CFOs

Margherita Della Valle has been awarded the 2022 Alumna of the Year by the Bocconi Alumni Community

In 2023, Della Valle became the first female Chief Executive Officer of the Vodafone Group

According to a report by PeopleWorld, Margherita Della Valle’s average salary as interim Vodafone CEO reportedly stood at £1.1 million, however, other reports suggested she earned more as finance director in 2022 gaining £2.6 million in compensation

I want to see more female CFOs and CEOs: Margherita Della Valle

In an Interview given to Forbes, Margherita Della Valle addressed the issue of women lacking behind at the corporate leadership levels.

When asked about what all barriers are there which are stopping women from reaching the top of the finance profession, Della Valle said, “I think there are the same types of obstacles and challenges in finance, as in other functions within an organization. A fundamental obstacle is what people call ‘subconscious bias’. The definition of leadership, and the leadership attributes that people are looking for, are still very much male-dominated in nature. This colours daily interactions and promotions and also women’s own engagement when pushing their careers. Sometimes you see women just disconnecting from the game, because it’s not the game they want to play.”

“The solution to this problem is going to be more women in leadership roles and diversity at every level. That’s the real game-changer we all need to push for. For example, a couple of years ago I witnessed a training session on how women should behave in interviews if they want to be successful. In my opinion, it’s not the women who need to change to be successful in interviews,” she added further.

“It’s the interviewers who need to change and the nature of the interviews needs to be different. A lot of the advice that women get in terms of selling their competencies and looking confident might be different if the interviewers themselves were women. I believe personally that I interview differently from men,” Margherita Della Valle concluded.

International Finance recently caught up with Lao Telecommunication CEO Souphol Chanthavixay, who spoke about his company’s expertise, operational capabilities, roadmap of introducing AI to the people of Lao and much more.

Can you tell us briefly about Lao Telecom?

Lao Telecommunication was established in 1996 as a joint venture between the Gov-ernment of the Lao PDR and Shenington Investments from Singapore with the Gov-ernment owning 51% of the company. We just celebrated our quarter century two years ago, and through that period Lao Telecom has been the leading telecommunica-tions provider in the country.

Obviously, the landscape since 1996 has changed dramatically; who would have thought that applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and many others, would emerge and change the way in which we communicate? But with each new innovation, we have kept pace and made sure that our customers enjoy the best possible services. We have gone from 2G in the early years to 4G and 5G in the last few years, and Lao Telecom has consistently been the first company to introduce such new technologies to the market in Laos.

How do Lao Telecom’s activities promote national development?

Lao Telecom as the major telecoms service provider in Laos, is proud to be able to contribute to the government’s digital economy policies by building a high-standard network with quality coverage to all cities across the country. Through our efforts, our support of technology innovations and the introduction of leading-edge solutions, Lao Telecom is a major force in driving digital innovation and as a result of such innova-tions, helps drive the nation’s economic development as we move from a least devel-oped country to a newly developing economy in the next few years. LTC’s infrastruc-ture based on the latest technologies will ensure that the country can enjoy the benefits of world-class service and connectivity on which the digital economy can securely be implemented and grow.

What is Lao Telecom’s view on new technologies especially in the area of AI?

Everyone knows that technology and new advances in technology drive the world and can empower an economy’s sustainable growth. At Lao Telecom we stay abreast of the latest technological advances, and whether it is the introduction of 4G or 5G mobile communications technologies, they are the innovative technologies that form the basic foundation that supports Lao Telecom’s broadband speed and capacity, the very ele-ments that make us the leading telecoms and digital solutions provider in Laos. The country’s e-commerce, social media, mobile payments system and all other types of digital business solutions depend on our ability to deliver these technologies, and that is our mission, to provide the type of solutions that will answer the needs of the con-sumers, and the business and government sectors. We will continue to monitor new advances, and already we are looking at the recent wave of announcements about AI technology that may have a massive effect on our daily lives – how will that affect tel-ecommunications, and how can we as a telco harness the power of AI, and more; these are the questions of today for solutions for the future.

You mention fintech, what is Lao Telecom doing in this area, and how important is it?

Fintech is quickly becoming an important pillar of the digital economy, and having an e-wallet is a major step toward financial inclusion and fiscal efficiency.

Ltc’s e-wallet, known as M-Money, is a Mobile electronic payment system that was established in July 2021. The online, or rather, on phone payment platform facilitates convenience, particularly when it comes to time – people who don’t want to spend a lot of time in banks, or would rather pay for government services online rather than go to a physical building will find this a convenient solution. We are rapidly expanding the platform, and to date, we have well over 300,000 merchants attached to the wallet, as well as nearly 1 million users of the platform. Further, M-Money serves the govern-ment’s policy toward transforming the country into a cashless society, and ensures that everyone has access to financial services.

How does Lao Telecom attract and retain personnel?

Of course, Ltc also has to focus on its human capital to ensure that we employ the peo-ple who will drive these new technology implementations. Further, we have to manage our fiscal and scientific resources to encourage creative new projects, whether they be in the area of AI, big data, cloud computing, or others to provide new services to our customers. We are constantly looking for new talent to help us keep abreast of these changes, while also offering an extensive range of in-house and external training and education opportunities for our personnel. We work hard to identify and retain key personnel while also developing and maintaining a strong corporate culture based on our core principles of integrity, respect, learning, compliance, creativity, and customer focus.

In terms of Corporate Responsibility or Shared Value, what are the activities un-dertaken by Lao Telecom?

As with our personnel and solutions for our customers, we also take our responsibility toward society as a whole very seriously. There are several strands that Lao Telecom views as core pillars of developing a just, inclusive, and equal society. One of those is education, and since our inception, Lao Telecom has consistently supported education efforts throughout the country. Annually we provide scholarships to students at the Na-tional University of Laos, participate in skills-building events and activities, and throughout the COVID pandemic period, worked closely with the Ministry of Educa-tion to facilitate online learning for students at all levels.

In addition to education, Lao Telecom also supports activities related to the preserva-tion of our Lao culture, and our natural resources. Further, Lao Telecom is always ready to support emergency aid efforts in times of natural disasters or emergencies. Whether be it floods that devastate the livelihoods of people, or other calamities, Lao Telecom provides assistance wherever and whenever it is needed.

With Verizon shutting down its old telecommunication network, 3G mobile services in the United States will no longer be available.

AT&T turned off its 3G service in February 2022 and T-Mobile started shutting down old networks around the same time frame as well.

AT&T has also published a detailed list of phones and digital devices that will still work after their 3G switch off, as well as devices that may require a software update to enable HD voice, Wi-Fi Calling, Video Calls, Advanced Messaging, or 5G services. It says that its customers in the United States will need to check their phone model in order to precisely determine if their phones will work after the switch off or not.

AT&T users can also sign in to their accounts to see if their phones are affected. Verizon has sent its customers new, LTE-capable phones, as well as letters explaining the road ahead after the 3G services shut down.

Verizon has told customers with 3G phones that their “lines will be suspended starting the day before their December billing cycle begins.”

After the deadline, they can use those devices only for calling 911 and Verizon customer service.

T-Mobile’s 3G CDMA network that originated with Sprint was retired on March 31, 2022, while the 3G UMTS network that originated with T-Mobile itself was retired as of July 1, 2022. The LTE network that originated with Sprint was retired as of June 30, 2022.

The telecommunication service provider also plans to retire their 2G network.

According to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), mobile carriers “periodically shut down older services, such as 3G, to free up spectrum and infrastructure to support new services, such as 5G.”

“Mobile carriers have the flexibility to choose the types of technologies and services they deploy, including when they decommission older services in favor of newer services to meet consumer demands,” said the regulatory authority.

“Other devices, such as certain medical devices, tablets, smartwatches, vehicle SOS services, home security systems, and other connected products may be using 3G network services. And don’t forget about devices that use cellular connectivity as a backup when a wired internet connection goes down,” it said further.

General Motors subsidiary OnStar has said that the 3G switch-off will affect certain GM vehicles in the 2015 model year or later. The company is also issuing over-the-air updates to cars affected.

According to Fierce Wireless, telecom carrier Orange plans to phase out its 2G and 3G networks in Europe by 2030.

In France, 2G will be decommissioned first by 2025 end, followed by a 3G closure by 2029.

Businesses all throughout the world scrambled to address basic demands, which led to a variety of opportunities being created by COVID.

The necessity for adaptive technologies was increased by remote employment, online education, and social segregation policies, and the telecom industry boomed because of it.

PwC reports that mergers and acquisition activities in this sector have increased 28% year over year, with deal value reaching a record USD 469 billion.

In 2022, there were more disclosed private equity deals totalling USD 194 billion, with almost three-quarters of that value concentrated in the software and internet sectors.

The trends influencing investments and mergers and acquisitions (M&As) in the telecom industry will be covered in this article.

Developing Nations Prioritize Fibre
In Latin America, there is still a high demand for connectivity and broadband services, and several of the biggest telecom companies are concentrating on growing their fiber networks before 5G arrives.

By 2022 end, S&P Global projects that over 50% of Latin American households will have access to broadband, with fibre driving expansion. Fibre will be the largest fixed broadband platform in the area, reaching one in five homes.

The Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) initiative will receive USD 42 billion of the historic USD 65 billion in funding for broadband infrastructure deployment in the United States from the recently passed federal Infrastructure Deal.

The BEAD initiative stipulates that grant opportunities must be available to cooperatives, non-profits, public-private partnerships, private enterprises, utilities, and local governments. It will give states unprecedented funds to support installations in disadvantaged areas.

Private investors are also involved in this.

The European market is more fragmented than the more developed US market, and US investors are eager to enter it.

Domestic Consolidation
In-market consolidation is still a top aim to establish a more sustainable telecom landscape, despite the fact that tight rules present a challenge in some areas.

Operators with heavy debt loads can gain scale and lower fixed costs through in-country consolidation.

There are several instances of sizable European telecom firms that have successfully expanded through M&A deals, and more businesses are focusing on possible targets.

It is hoped that the demand for high-speed networks will make regulators more aware of the investment worth.

Expanding Use Of Disaggregation
Organizations from all sectors are searching for ways to enhance their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Disaggregated networks provide a more sustainable, scalable replacement for their conventional forerunners.

Operators can simply change software providers in a disaggregated network, without having to rip out and replace current hardware.

Since 2020, strategic M&A investments have rebounded dramatically in this sector.

This expansion will be aided further by unprecedented demand for telecommunications and data supply.
