Wyelands Bank expands its working capital solutions team

Wyelands Bank, AMN AMRO, Eurofactor, Yorkshire, Aldermore Bank
It is part of the bank's strategy to appoint Kelvin Thomas and Henry Wheeler in key regions to help small and medium businesses unlock growth

Together, Kelvin and Henry will focus on growing Wyelands Bank’s asset-based lending offer in key regions, helping businesses access finance and unlock growth.

Ian Flaxman, managing director, working capital solutions, said: “At Wyelands Bank, we take the time to get to know and understand the businesses we support, helping our customers to unlock growth.  With a strong track record in asset-based lending and a significant regional presence, Kelvin and Henry demonstrate our commitment to our customers.

“Together they will help us continue to deliver innovative and high-quality financial solutions to small and medium businesses across the manufacturing supply chain.”

Kelvin and Henry join as regional directors, working capital solutions.  Kelvin is responsible for originating deals in South Wales and the South West and is based in Cardiff.  Henry, based in Leeds, is focused on Yorkshire and the North East.

Henry Wheeler said: “Wyelands Bank is building a reputation as a bank that understands its customers and will tailor solutions to meet a firm’s specific challenge.  I’m looking forward working with the team to develop our regional presence and help more businesses to trade, grow and create jobs in Yorkshire and the North East.”

Kelvin is an experienced asset-based lending specialist with more than 20 years in the financial services industry. He joins from ABN AMRO Commercial Finance where was the sales director for Wales and the South West.  Before joining AMN AMRO, Kelvin held a senior role at Eurofactor.

Henry joins from Aldermore Bank where he was responsible for business development in Yorkshire.  Henry is experienced in helping small and medium business to access asset-based lending solutions.
