ACB Securities (ACBS), based in Vietnam, has been named the ‘Most Customer-Centric Company’ in the country for 2024 by the UK’s International Finance Publications Limited. This prestigious award highlights ACB Securities’ dedication to offering a comprehensive range of financial products and services to both domestic and international investors. The company has also demonstrated impressive financial performance in 2024.

Founded in 2000, alongside the establishment of the Vietnamese stock market, ACB Securities has quickly become one of the country’s leading securities firms. With the backing of Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), a prominent financial institution in Vietnam, ACBS enjoys a strong financial foundation and is renowned for its high-quality investment services. In 2024, the company reported exceptional growth, with total assets surpassing $1 billion (26,041 billion VND), representing a remarkable 121% increase. Furthermore, its pretax profit soared to over $33 million (847 billion VND), reflecting a 72% rise and exceeding projected targets.

Thanks to this robust capital base, ACB Securities has significantly expanded and enhanced its services. A major achievement was the successful upgrade of its core trading system, which has greatly improved processing capacity and introduced advanced features. This infrastructure upgrade lays the groundwork for ACBS to develop a comprehensive product ecosystem, optimising value creation and delivering superior customer experiences.

In addition to investing in its core trading system, ACBS has made significant strides in cybersecurity and system security. By implementing rigorous risk management measures, the company ensures smooth and secure transactions, giving investors complete confidence when trading.

Looking ahead, Vietnam’s GDP is projected to grow by 8% in 2025, according to the Government, a rate that outpaces many other countries in the region.

Moreover, Vietnam’s stock market is expected to be upgraded to Emerging Market status by FTSE. To support its growth strategy for 2025, ACBS plans to strategically allocate capital to its securities services division, including margin lending, technology investments, and the development of new products. The capital infusion (nearly $400 million in total) will further strengthen ACB Securities’ financial position and solidify its standing among the top five securities firms in the market by charter capital.
