Kariya Energy will acquire oil and gas assets across various Africa jurisdictions. It is reported that the company will target producing oil and gas assets, in addition to developing small-scale LNG.

The company and its management team have experience in deep and shallow water projects in Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Congo DRC, Congo Republic and Gabon. In fact, these African countries are considered to be ideal destinations for oil and gas investments. Kariya Energy has spent nearly 16 months studying  various IOCs, media reports said.

With that, it is expected to acquire various exploration and development projects through risk service contracts or direct negotiations with sovereign governments. The company said in a statement, “Kariya Energy’s strategy has focused on the innovation and evaluation of new opportunities for resource extraction with great technology that has produced results.”

It is reported that the company will also pursue several small-scale LNG projects in Africa. Using its technology, Kariya Energy seeks to transform Africa’s small-scale LNG projects and closely work with partners in addressing off-grid power generation for industrial and residential needs, media reports said. The company will also resolve problems associated with energy poverty.

Kariya Energy is focused on upstream and midstream petroleum industry operations and investment.
