As announced at its Digital Days on June 15, OneLife, the Luxembourg-based specialist in life assurance, has launched the latest innovation in the company’s digital transformation plan. Employees at OneLife can now manage all their learning and development needs using a single online learning platform, LinkedIn Learning.
OneLife’s Digital Days in June, a two-day voyage of discovery and training in digital technologies for employees, are becoming reality. LinkedIn Learning was formally implemented at OneLife on September 21 as part of the Digital Days Breakfasts initiative. Nicola Doherty, Regional Sales Manager and Alizée Del Mastro, Customer Success Manager from LinkedIn, gave employees an in-depth tour of the online platform, home to over 10 000 courses, as well as useful tips and timesavers to help them get the most out of the learning experience.
Closely linked to OneLife’s strategy of investing in digital as a business enabler, the firm’s Executive Committee, managers and group of beta testers have been involved in the project’s design and testing right from the start. The aim is to mould the platform so that it serves as a powerful tool in the delivery of the company’s Learning & Development, Career Path and Performance Management cycles — both on an individual and team level.
Mr. Nicolas Schmit, Minister of Labour, Employment & Social Economy, supported the initiative of the OneLife Digital Days by his participation. He stressed on the importance of the need to continuously develop skills in order to ensure Luxembourg remains competitive.
OneLife is one of the first private sector clients in Luxembourg to partner with LinkedIn to deliver its learning programme. Made for professionals by professionals, the platform provides easy learning opportunities around the clock for users to follow their chosen courses at their own rhythm during business hours and in their own time.
Marc Stevens, CEO, OneLife, said, “Our strong investment in digital technologies clearly demonstrates our leadership position in this respect and the importance we attach to bringing simple, fast and secure services to our partners, clients and people”.
Laurence Parison, Chief Human Resources Officer OneLife, said, “This solution is the perfect digital tool to allow our employees to build their own career development plans and progress at their own pace.”
Christophe Regnault, Digital Marketing Manager OneLife, said, “Our aim is to bring technology straight to our people to help them develop their skills and do their jobs better through technology. Digital – it’s all about people after all!”
Nicola Doherty, Sales Director LinkedIn Europe, said, “We are delighted to be partnering with OneLife and to see the huge potential that the LinkedIn Learning gives them to grow the firm’s human capital and extend the culture of continuous improvement.”
