BlackBerry Limited announced that Gartner, Inc., a leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, has given the company the highest score for all six use cases in its Critical Capabilities for High-Security Mobility Management report for the second year in a row.
Out of the 15 Enterprise Mobility Management vendors evaluated, BlackBerry received the highest score for its BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite in the following use cases: High-Security Government Grade; High-Security Commercial; Shared Data; Shared Devices; Nonemployee; and Bring Your Own (BYO).
“We believe it’s no accident that once again, across six-out-of-six use cases, BlackBerry received the highest scores in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for High-Security Mobility Management report,” said Billy Ho, BlackBerry’s Executive Vice President for Enterprise Products. “BlackBerry practically invented secure mobile communications and we’ve flexed our legendarily secure architecture to protect the enterprise deployment of connected IoT endpoints. We have been listening to and building these solutions for large customers since before we were all calling it UEM (Unified Endpoint Management).”
According to Gartner, high-security mobility management is a subset of the enterprise mobility management market, which serves organizations with stringent requirements. The Gartner Critical Capabilities for High-Security Mobility Management report offers guidance to IT buyers, especially those in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy, as well as government agencies that require strong security.
BlackBerry was also positioned a Leader in Gartner’s June 2017 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility Management Suites for the second year in a row. In addition, BlackBerry achieved the top score in two use cases in Gartner’s June 2017 Critical Capabilities for Mobility Management, including regulated industries and unmanaged device support.
