WBAF names Turkey as Europe’s top entrepreneurship policymaker

The Minister of Development received the award from WBAF

Yesterday, World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), a global organisation aiming to provide financing for high-growth companies, startups, scale ups, entrepreneurs, and SMEs, named Turkey’s Ministry of Development as the best policymaker in Europe for supporting entrepreneurship.

Lütfi Elvan, the Turkey’s Minister of Development received the award from WBAF during the 2018 World Congress in Istanbul.

The President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov also received the Grand Award for offering his summer home to guide future leaders and train them at a leadership summer school.

The Central European nations – the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia were part of the event that was held from Febuary18-20 at Istanbul, Turkey.
