Japan-based medical equipment manufacturer and healthtech startup HeartVoice is launching a health programme in Singapore. The programme known as ‘Back on Track’ is designed to help its users engage with their own health through regular participation.

To launch the programme in Singapore, Omron and HeartVoice are teaming up with local insurer Great Eastern. In this regard, Daisuke Nozaki, Managing Director of HeartVoice told the media, “Back On Track! users will be also receiving health tips as a reminder to make healthier choices on a daily basis via HeartVoice App. Friendly nudges to stay healthier can make a great behavioral change in the long run. Those on the premium package will also have their health personally monitored by our very own medical team and be provided with health reviews and recommendations to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, when users need to see a doctor, they can make use of a free telemedicine consultation with the HeartVoice selected panel of doctors.”

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the new programme will allow Singaporeans to take control of their health on the back of an organised system. It is reported that the programme includes two packages and offers services such as basic health screening, teleconsultation and a dengue insurance plan among others.

Recently, it was reported that the new National University Health System (NUHS)’s Centre for Innovation in Healthcare (CIH) will propel Singapore’s growth as a regional medtech hub. So far, it has supported around 20 medtech innovations attracting investments worth S$100 million.
