Zencap AM announces third senior infrastructure debt fund

ZENCAP Asset Management, European economy, wealth management, asset management
The Fund constitutes an opportunity for professional institutional investors to sustainable financing of the European economy

ZENCAP Asset Management is about to launch its third senior infrastructure debt Fund after the success of the first two funds, Zencap Infra Debt launched in 2014 and Zencap Infra Debt 2 launched in 2016, which gathered together more than € 500mn commitments, from institutional investors mainly belonging to the insurance sector.

The new Fund will follow the investment strategy of the first two funds devoted to senior financing of European infrastructure with a first closing target of €200mn. This vehicle will provide access to Natixis Real Asset Debt platform, dedicated to infrastructure financing, thus offering privileged access to the European market of infrastructure debt.

This Fund constitutes an opportunity for professional institutional investors who wish to diversify their assets allocation while participating to sustainable financing of the European economy, and particularly to the development of sectors such as energy, transport, water and/or waste treatment and public facilities. Zencap Asset Management is also working to labeling the Fund in order to highlight the environmental impact of the projects funded.

Furthermore, Zencap Asset Management continues to take advantage of private debt opportunities in the sector of infrastructure and renewable energies through other funds of its range. This allows Zencap Asset Management, among other investment themes, to structure and finance corporate, junior or mezzanine transactions, most often for small/mid cap players, located in France and in the rest of Europe.
