SenaHill marks international expansion with key appointment

Todd Ruppert joins SenaHill Partners to bolster FinTech business overseas

SenaHill Partners, LP (‘SenaHill’), a FinTech specialist merchant bank, announced the appointment of Todd Ruppert to help drive global expansion. Following several successful international deals and increasing demand for SenaHill’s services across Europe, Asia and Australia, Ruppert will help steer the firm’s international advisory initiatives and growth strategy to capitalize on global opportunities throughout the FinTech ecosystem.

Ruppert retired from T. Rowe Price, the global investment management firm with over $850 billion under management, in 2012. During his tenure at the firm, he served as CEO and President of T. Rowe Price Global Investment Services, Co-president, T. Rowe Price International, and a member of the operating steering committee of the T. Rowe Price Group. He is the Founder and CEO of Ruppert International, a firm with diversified interests globally in various fields including financial services, disruptive technologies, education and strategy consulting. Ruppert serves as a venture partner at Greenspring Associates, a US-based venture capital firm with over $5.0 billion under management. He is also a long-standing FinTech investor and advisor, and member of numerous boards and advisory boards including INSEAD business school, Duke University, Symbiont, Nutmeg, Seedrs, Trov and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Justin Brownhill, Managing Partner at SenaHill said: “SenaHill has experienced rapid growth and success in our international advisory business, including our recent M&A work on Liquidnet’s acquisition of OTAS Technologies. We are thrilled to welcome Todd to our expanding team and believe he is the ideal partner to help us replicate the success and opportunities we’ve had in the US across the European, Asian and Australian FinTech markets. Todd’s extensive experience in the financial services industry will be critical as we continue to build our global resources and client base.”

Ruppert will provide local support for existing clients and leverage SenaHill’s recent international successes with clients such as OTAS Technologies. Commenting about his experience working with SenaHill, Tom Doris, CEO of OTAS, a Liquidnet company, stated, “The SenaHill team was able to provide the global outreach to cover potential acquirers in both the U.S. and Europe, which was critical for us. They understood the value drivers of our business and which acquirers could maximize its potential, and they aligned and navigated all of our stakeholders (BOD, Investors, Management) to deliver a winning outcome for all. Their level of professionalism, discipline and dedication through the process was impressive.”
