Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL entered the Indian mobile market

Carry their set of similarities and differences

The second generation Pixel smartphones – Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have hit the Indian market yesterday on October 4th, putting an end to the speculations of the consumers and fans.

Post launch, Google quoted the price of the two phones. While Pixel 2 starts at a price of Rs. 61,000, Pixel 2 XL starts at Rs. 73,000.

The similar features that the two phones carry are their Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processors, Anroid 8.0, 4 gigs of RAM and storage of either 64 or 128 gigs, OLED screens giving enhanced display, amazing cameras, and are both water and dust resistant. Both have been made of metal rather than plastic or glass.

Google’s flagship products, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL along with their price difference, also come with their set of differences in features. Pixel 2 is a little smaller in size than the Pixel 2 XL, having displays of 5 inch and 5.5 inch respectively. Pixel 2 model looks similar to the previous model. But Pixel 2 XL has been revamped with a new look. Pixel 2 XL is much slimmer and more elegant than the model Pixel 2.

There also comes some difference in the displays of the two phones. Pixel 2 has been designed with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and Pixel 2 XL has an enhanced resolution of 2880×1440 pixels.

The manufacturing credits of the two phones also go two separate companies. Pixel 2 has been manufactured by HTC and Pixel 2 XL by LG.

The biggest drawback of both the phones is that it comes without headphone jack.
