Qatar Airways has introduced more than 60 nationals to its Al Darb Qatarisation programme at a recent event. Through the programme, Qatar Airways will introduce the new graduates to the world of aviation.
As a part of the Al Darb Qatarisation programme, the graduates will work in various departments within Qatar Airways. This will enable them to learn and gain significant experience when it comes to the aviation industry.
The Al Darb Qatarisation Programme, introduced by the Qatari airlines is an initiative that introduces new graduates to the world of aviation and prepares them to take up important positions within the airline in the future.
With regard to the addition of 60 nationals to the programme, Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker told the media that, “I look forward to receiving our new joinees into Qatar Airways. They are an important pillar as we further establish our efforts to support the Qatar National Vision 2030 towards a sustainable Qatar.”
He added, “We expect the best from all our employees and are always on the lookout for fresh graduates with the potential to be future leaders in our industry.”
Qatar Airlines recently announced that it will fly direct flights to Luanda, Angola. The airline will fly its Boeing 787 Dreamliner carrier to Luanda five times a week. Earlier this year, the airline also announced that it will fly to Gaborone, Botswana from October 27, 2019.
The airline also opened its office in Amman, Jordan. The airline will operate three flights to Amman on a daily basis.
Qatar Airways currently operates to more than 160 destinations worldwide. Some of its recent destinations added to the list include Rabat, Izmir, Davao, Lisbon and Mogadishu.
