Mobi.AI, known for its work in AI personalisation, optimisation, and data science, has entered a new chapter with the appointment of Andrew Boch as chief executive officer. Boch is no stranger to the company. For the past three years, he served as chief operating officer, shaping its strategy and sharpening its operational edge to meet the shifting demands of enterprise clients. Now he steps into the role of CEO, succeeding Anna Jaffe, Mobi.AI’s co-founder, who will remain closely involved as a member of the board.
The transition reflects both continuity and renewal. Peng Yu, co-founder and chief technology officer, continues to guide the company’s technical work, ensuring steady progress in day-to-day development. Together, Yu and Boch form the core of Mobi.AI’s leadership team, balancing vision with deep institutional knowledge.
Boch brings a long record of helping young companies scale into industry leaders. Over more than two decades, he has taken on pivotal roles at firms such as Hopper and LevelUp, navigating growth from early stage to market leadership. His background in AI-driven product development and operations makes him well placed to steer Mobi.AI through a phase of ambitious product expansion.
“I’m honoured to lead this capable, driven, and committed team to further innovation in data science, optimisation, and AI personalisation. Mobi.AI is well-positioned to deliver real value through human-collaborative AI and automation. As we enter this next phase, we are more focused than ever on providing scalable solutions for our customers, both long-standing and new,” Andrew Boch said.
The company’s purpose remains steady. Mobi.AI was founded on the idea that automation, optimisation, and human-collaborative AI can be applied to solve complex, real-world problems. Today, that vision is concentrated in three areas: logistics automation, continuous planning systems, and travel planning and optimisation.
Boch’s appointment is meant to carry that vision forward. The company expects to move into new markets and verticals with strong growth potential, while its established platforms continue to post reliable gains. His mix of experience and familiarity with Mobi.AI’s culture is seen internally as a source of stability at a moment of change.
Andrew Boch brings more than 17 years of leadership in high-growth technology ventures, particularly in travel, digital payments, and hospitality. Before joining Mobi.AI, he served as chief operating officer at BudBud, Hopper, and LevelUp, which was later acquired by GrubHub. A graduate of Harvard with a degree in History and Science, he has a reputation for balancing broad vision with attention to fine detail.
