Alexey Miller and Karen Karapetyan address Russian gas supplies to Armenia

Addressed bilateral cooperation, focusing on Russian gas supplies to Armenia

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Karen Karapetyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, took place in Yerevan.

The meeting was held on the margins of the visit by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Armenia.

The parties addressed bilateral cooperation, placing a focus on Russian gas supplies to Armenia. It was highlighted that over the first 9 months of 2017, Armenia had been supplied with 1.35 billion cubic meters of gas, 20.6 per cent more than in the same period of 2016. Alexey Miller and Karen Karapetyan discussed the terms and conditions of gas deliveries for 2018.

Discussion also centered on the plans for further cooperation as part of the General Scheme of Gas Supply to and Gasification of Armenia.
