VPBankS has been named 'Best Securities Research House – Vietnam 2026' by the International Finance, recognising its commitment to developing research capabilities and helping investors make informed decisions

For investors navigating a constant flow of financial news, corporate disclosures, and economic data, access to information is only the starting point. Understanding how macroeconomic developments, industry trends, company fundamentals, and valuations interact requires deeper analysis.

To help investors assess opportunities and risks in line with their objectives and risk appetite, VPBank Securities Joint Stock Company (VPBankS) established its dedicated research centre, VPBankS Research, in 2023. The centre provides strategic analysis, market insights, and timely, actionable recommendations covering the economy, financial markets, sectors, and individual companies.

“At VPBank Securities, we believe quality research is essential to helping investors make informed decisions. Our focus is on turning complex market information into clear, practical insights that help investors assess opportunities and understand risks. Guided by the principle, ‘For a prosperous future’, we will continue to strengthen our research capabilities to support our clients’ long-term goals, and contribute to the development of Vietnam’s capital market,” said Nham Ha Hai, Chief Executive Officer of VPBankS.

VPBankS Research produces a comprehensive range of regular updates and thematic reports. Morning briefs and daily market recaps track key developments, while weekly reports assess market conditions and investment opportunities.

More detailed company and sector research, macroeconomic outlooks, and event analysis examine business prospects, valuations, and the implications of economic and policy changes.

Together, these publications help investors place daily market movements in context and assess the factors that may influence investment performance over time.

Investors can access these reports through both the NEO Invest website and mobile app. VPBankS also shares market analysis through livestreams on its official YouTube and Facebook channels.

Programmes such as ‘Chiến lược đầu tư’ and ‘Dòng chảy thị trường’ feature discussions on investment strategies, market trends, and capital flows, giving investors additional ways to follow developments, and understand their implications.

The company further shares its expertise through events, seminars, and financial education programmes, including VPBankS Talk, ‘Việt Nam và các chỉ số’ (Vietnam and the Indices) on VTV, and ‘The Investor’ on CafeF.

By bringing expert analysis to a wider audience, these initiatives support financial literacy and help investors develop the knowledge to evaluate opportunities, understand risks, and make considered investment decisions.

Strengthening the foundations for long-term growth
VPBankS has developed its research capabilities alongside rapid expansion across its business lines. VPBankS began operating as the sole securities arm within the VPBank ecosystem from mid-2022.

In just over four years, it has drawn on the experience and resources of VPBank, Vietnam’s largest private bank, to achieve strong growth in both scale and financial performance.

Within its first year of operation, VPBankS increased its charter capital to VND 15 trillion, the highest in the securities sector at the time.

Access to its parent bank’s technology know-how, operational expertise, and risk management capabilities also helped shorten the time needed to build platforms, launch products and services.

These foundations have supported growth in both scale and financial performance. By the end of June 2026, VPBankS’s total assets reached nearly VND 89 trillion, placing it among Vietnam’s top 3 largest securities firms.

Profit before tax for the second quarter reached VND 2,159 billion, the highest in the sector.

The company has also expanded its client base, becoming one of the fastest new entrants to reach the top 10 in equity brokerage market share on HoSE.

By the end of the second quarter of 2026, VPBankS served approximately 1.5 million clients, while its brokerage market share on HoSE reached 3.57%, ranking 8th.

To meet the needs of this growing client base, VPBankS offers a broad range of investment products and services, including equities, bonds, derivatives, funds, sample portfolios, covered warrants, and specialised investment banking solutions for corporate and institutional clients, supporting their financing and strategic development needs.

Investment in people and technology has accompanied this expansion. The company’s workforce grew from 384 employees in 2022 to 800 by the end of June 2026.

Ongoing upgrades to the NEO Invest platform have introduced a more intuitive interface, faster processing, and greater personalisation, while strengthening system stability and security to support a smooth and reliable trading experience.

With these foundations in capital, technology, people, and the support from VPBank ecosystem, VPBankS is preparing for a new phase of growth.

The company is developing an integrated wealth management platform that connects equities, bonds, funds, and portfolio management solutions within a single ecosystem, enabling it to address a broader range of clients’ investment and wealth management needs.
