Bitcoin’s value reaches new heights

Priced at $9,760 per unit, it now widely expected that the value will surpass the value of $10,000 a coin mark by the end of the year

On Sunday morning, by 12:22 p.m. ET, the price of bitcoin has sky rocketed and crossed the value of $9,000 per coin. It was 7.16% up against the US dollar.

Till a year ago, each bitcoin was priced at $730 and that on Monday morning reached the value of $9,760 a coin. Experts are sharing divided opinions about its future. While a section thinks this is the point when bitcoin is catching up the market, the other section of experts sees this as a momentary soar that won’t last forever.

The sum total of all the existing bitcoins has exceeded $150bn, and a total those of all cryptocurrencies has crossed $300bn.

But wide speculations are going on that the value will exceed more than $10,000 mark by the end of the year.
